Cylinder stamping is a critical operation when it comes to safety. Its scope is strictly defined by standards and must remain fully legible throughout the cylinder's entire lifespan. This ensures that customers always have access to essential details—not just the serial number, but also the manufacturer, working pressure, gas type, and the standard under which the cylinder was produced. In turn, this clarifies where and for what purpose the cylinder can safely be used.
